What is the best cTrader broker?
IC Markets is our editors' pick for cTrader, rated 89, with its cTrader platform running on the LD5 data centre in London and commission of US$3 per side per US$100,000 traded. The other eight brokers follow our published overall rating, with Pepperstone second.
Pepperstone actually carries the higher overall rating, 93.5 against 89, so I owe you the reasoning. I put IC Markets first for cTrader because its pricing on the platform undercuts its own MT4 Raw Spread account, US$3 per side against US$3.50, and its cTrader servers sit in the LD5 data centre in London. Its category scores back the call, including 9.5 of 10 for Trading Platform and 9.5 for Funding. If you want the lowest advertised commission of the nine, Fusion Markets bills 2.25 per 100,000 of notional volume per side on cTrader, in the base currency of the instrument, so one lot of EUR/USD costs EUR 2.25 per side (EUR 4.50 round turn). If you live outside Australia, GO Markets’ cTrader is closed to you because it serves ASIC clients only. The table below lines up the nine side by side.

Some of the abbreviations on this page are expanded to the regulator's full name: a broker regulated by ASIC is regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission; by FCA, the Financial Conduct Authority; by DFSA, the Dubai Financial Services Authority.
Our editors’ pick first, then by our overall rating, highest first.
- IC Markets: editors' pick for cTrader
- Pepperstone: highest overall rating of the nine
- Fusion Markets: lowest advertised commission of the nine
- BlackBull Markets: cTrader Copy added in 2025
- FP Markets: one cTID for cTrader and TradingView
- GO Markets: cTrader for Australian (ASIC) clients only
- FxPro: a dedicated cTrader account
- Blueberry Markets: cTrader beside four other platforms
- Purple Trading: three depth of market views on cTrader
The spread and commission cells are each broker's own advertised figures as recorded in our dataset, and Fusion Markets' 0.03 pips is our calculation from the hourly averages it publishes. Commission is per side per standard lot on each broker's raw or ECN account, and some brokers price cTrader differently, which each card below explains. Your costs depend on the entity that opens your account.
Broker reviews
The cards below follow the order of the list above. Each one explains how cTrader works at that broker and which entities offer it.
1. IC Markets
Platforms
MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView
Minimum deposit
US$200
Advertised EUR/USD spread
0.01 pips labelled average (Raw)
Commission
US$3 per side on cTrader
Why We Recommend IC Markets
IC Markets is our editors' pick for cTrader, and it is the broker I would send you to if cost-efficient trading on that platform is your priority. It scores 89 overall, with a 9.5 for Trading Platform and 9.5 for Funding, and its cTrader commission of US$3 per side (US$6 round turn) undercuts its own MT4 Raw Spread account, which charges US$3.50 per side (US$7 round turn). IC Markets labels 0.01 pips as its average EUR/USD raw spread, with no averaging period stated.
The trade-off is entry and reach. The US$200 minimum deposit is the highest on this page, crypto CFD leverage is capped at 5:1 on cTrader against 200:1 on MT4 and MT5, and clients of its CySEC entity cannot use cTrader Copy. If you copy trade or trade crypto CFDs heavily, weigh those limits before committing.
Pros & cons
- cTrader commission below its own MT4 Raw account
- Funding category score of 9.5 out of 10
- cTrader runs on London LD5 servers
- Highest minimum deposit at US$200
- Crypto CFD leverage capped at 5:1
- No cTrader Copy for EU clients
cTrader At IC Markets
At IC Markets you get cTrader alongside MT4, MT5 and TradingView, with demo accounts and mobile apps for all four. The platform runs on the LD5 data centre in London, and the coding environment is cAlgo for building cBots and indicators. Commission on cTrader is US$3 per side (US$6 round turn) per US$100,000 traded, cheaper than the US$3.50 per side on the MT4 Raw Spread account. You pay the broker's spreads on top. Note that cTrader Copy is unavailable if you trade through its CySEC entity.

2. Pepperstone
Platforms
MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView
Minimum deposit
US$0
Advertised EUR/USD spread
0.1 pips average (Razor)
Commission
US$3.50 per side (Razor)
Why We Recommend Pepperstone
Pepperstone carries the highest rating of the nine at 93.5, and it is where I would send you if you want the strongest all-round package on cTrader rather than the cheapest one. It scores 10 for Trading Experience, Trading Platform and Customer Service, and its Razor account averages 0.1 pips on EUR/USD, an average Pepperstone states over 1 to 31 August 2026 across all sessions, plus US$3.50 per side (US$7 round turn). For context, IC Markets charges US$3 per side on cTrader and Fusion Markets bills 2.25 per side in the base currency of the instrument.
The trade-off is cost relative to the raw-spread leaders here. The Standard account charges no commission and averages 1.1 pips on EUR/USD, so you pay a wider spread in return for skipping the commission line on your statement. If every pip matters to you, compare the totals before choosing.
Pros & cons
- Highest overall rating of nine
- cTrader demos never expire
- Eight regulators including FCA
- Razor commission above cheaper rivals
- Standard account averages 1.1 pips
- No US residents accepted
cTrader At Pepperstone
cTrader at Pepperstone comes with depth of market, cTrader Copy for copy trading and cTrader Automate for automation, alongside MT4, MT5, TradingView and Pepperstone's own app. Whether cTrader Copy is available to you depends on your region and the Pepperstone entity you trade with. Demo accounts for cTrader and TradingView do not expire, which is handy if you want time to learn the platform. The cTrader app is rated 4.4 out of 5 from 384 ratings on the Australian App Store as at September 2026.
*Your capital is at risk ‘79.6% of retail CFD accounts lose money’
3. Fusion Markets
Platforms
MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView
Minimum deposit
US$0
Advertised EUR/USD spread
0.03 pips (our calc., Zero)
Commission
2.25 per side in base currency on cTrader
Why We Recommend Fusion Markets
Fusion Markets is where I would send you if low costs come first, because its Trading Costs score is a perfect 10. It rates 85 overall, and on cTrader the commission is 2.25 per 100,000 of notional volume per side, billed in the base currency, so one lot of EUR/USD costs EUR 2.25 per side (EUR 4.50 round turn). Our calculation on Fusion's published hourly average spreads for 27 August to 25 September 2026 puts the Zero account at 0.03 pips on EUR/USD.
The trade-off is trust. Its Trust score is 5 of 10, with regulation from ASIC, the VFSC in Vanuatu and the FSA in Seychelles. If a top-tier licence matters more to you than the lowest costs, look up the page instead.
Pros & cons
- Perfect 10 for trading costs
- Lowest advertised commission of nine
- cTrader Copy available to all clients
- Trust score of 5 out of 10
- Education scored just 6 of 10
- Two offshore regulators alongside ASIC
cTrader At Fusion Markets
Fusion Markets offers cTrader alongside MT4, MT5 and TradingView, and TradingView trades through the cTrader integration. cTrader Copy and cBots are available to all Fusion clients, so you get the full automation and copy-trading toolkit. Commission on cTrader is 2.25 per 100,000 of notional volume per side in the instrument's base currency, which means EUR 2.25 per side on one lot of EUR/USD. The Zero account averages 0.03 pips on EUR/USD by our calculation on Fusion's published hourly averages.
4. BlackBull Markets
Platforms
MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView, BlackBull CopyTrader
Minimum deposit
US$0
Advertised EUR/USD spread
0.1 pips (ECN Prime)
Commission
US$3 per side (ECN Prime)
Why We Recommend BlackBull Markets
BlackBull Markets is the broker I would send you to if you want cTrader with a wide market range, because it scores 9.5 for Range of Markets. It rates 84.5 overall, and its ECN Prime account offers an advertised 0.1 pips raw spread on EUR/USD with US$3 per side (US$6 round turn) commission. cTrader Copy was added in 2025, and 27 crypto CFDs trade across all four platforms.
The trade-off is trust again. Its Trust score is 5 of 10, with regulation from the FMA in New Zealand and the FSA in Seychelles, and its education scored 8. If a European or UK licence is non-negotiable for you, this is not your broker.
Pros & cons
- 9.5 score for range of markets
- cTrader Copy added in 2025
- 27 crypto CFDs across platforms
- Trust score of 5 out of 10
- Only two regulators listed
- Standard account 1.1 pips EUR/USD
cTrader At BlackBull Markets
cTrader at BlackBull Markets runs on desktop, web, iOS and Android, and supports cTrader Automate, formerly cAlgo, for automated strategies written in C#, with backtesting on past market data. cTrader Copy was added in 2025. The platform sits alongside MT4, MT5, TradingView, BlackBull CopyTrader and BlackBull Invest for shares. On the ECN Prime account you pay US$3 per side (US$6 round turn) over an advertised 0.1 pips raw spread on EUR/USD, and 27 crypto CFDs are available on cTrader.
5. FP Markets
Platforms
MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView
Minimum deposit
US$100
Advertised EUR/USD spread
0.18 pips (Raw)
Commission
US$3 per side on cTrader Raw
Why We Recommend FP Markets
FP Markets is where I would send you if you want cTrader and TradingView under one login, because your cTrader ID unlocks TradingView as well. It rates 78.4 overall, with a 9 for Trading Costs, and its Raw account offers an advertised 0.1 pips on EUR/USD with US$3 per side (US$6 round turn) commission. The minimum deposit is US$100.
The trade-off is the experience around the platform. Trading Experience scored 6.5 and Range of Markets 7.2, the weaker scores in its profile, and cTrader availability depends on your jurisdiction. If a broad instrument list matters to you, check what your entity offers before you deposit.
Pros & cons
- cTrader ID also unlocks TradingView
- Trading Costs category score of 9 out of 10
- US$100 minimum deposit
- Trading Experience scored 6.5
- cTrader depends on jurisdiction
- Standard account 1.28 pips EUR/USD
cTrader At FP Markets
At FP Markets, cTrader sits alongside MT4, MT5, TradingView and IRESS in some regions, though cTrader availability depends on your jurisdiction. cTrader Raw accounts are priced at US$3 per lot each way, and because you log in to TradingView with your cTrader ID, one cTrader account covers both platforms. The platform, introduced by Spotware in 2010, comes as desktop, web and mobile apps with 26 timeframes and automation in C#. Raw spreads on EUR/USD are advertised at 0.18 pips.
6. GO Markets
Platforms
MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView (ASIC only)
Minimum deposit
US$0
Advertised EUR/USD spread
0.1 pips average (GO Plus+)
Commission
US$2.50 per side
Why We Recommend GO Markets
I would send Australian traders to GO Markets for a well-supported cTrader setup, and its Trading Platform category score of 9 backs that up. It rates 68.8 overall, and its GO Plus+ account averages 0.1 pips on EUR/USD with a US$2.50 per side commission (US$5 round turn). Customer service scores 8.6.
The trade-off is reach. cTrader, TradingView and the GO TradeX app are available to ASIC clients only, so if you live outside Australia you cannot trade cTrader here at all. Education scores 4 of 10 and range of markets 5.2, so beginners and traders who want a wide instrument list have better options elsewhere on this page.
Pros & cons
- Trading Platform category score of 9
- Low GO Plus+ EUR/USD average spread
- Regulated by ASIC, CySEC and FSC Mauritius
- cTrader limited to ASIC clients only
- Education scores just 4 of 10
- Narrow range of markets at 5.2
cTrader At GO Markets
At GO Markets, cTrader arrived in 2024 and is open only to clients of its Australian entity under ASIC; the CySEC and Mauritius entities run MT4 and MT5 only. The GO Plus+ account averages 0.1 pips on EUR/USD with a US$2.50 per side commission, while the Standard account averages 0.9 pips. You get advanced order management and cBot automation, plus cTrader Copy and the Signal Centre, though both of those are ASIC-only. Our review's quick facts table lists US$0 as the minimum deposit for the broker's Australian and EU entities, so you can start on cTrader without a set minimum, while the offshore Micro account asks US$10.

7. FxPro
Platforms
MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView (via cTrader), FxPro platform
Minimum deposit
US$100
Advertised EUR/USD spread
0.44 pips (cTrader account)
Commission
US$3.50 per side on forex and metals
Why We Recommend FxPro
I would point range-hungry traders to FxPro, which scores 9 of 10 for markets and 8 for both education and funding, with an overall rating of 58.5. The cTrader account gives you raw spreads from 0.0 pips plus US$3.50 per side on forex and metals, and no commission on indices, energies, futures or crypto. It is also the only route into TradingView at FxPro.
The trade-off is cost and polish: trading costs score 5 and trading experience 4. If you mainly trade forex and want the tightest pricing, the US$3.50 per side commission on metals as well as forex adds up, and the advertised 0.44 pip EUR/USD raw spread sits above the cheapest brokers on this page.
Pros & cons
- Raw spreads from 0.0 pips advertised
- No commission on indices and energies
- Range of markets scores 9 of 10
- Trading costs score just 5
- Trading experience scores 4 of 10

You can use cTrader on Windows, Mac and the web, trading forex, indices, metals and energies. The minimum deposit is US$100.
*Your capital is at risk ‘75% of retail CFD accounts lose money’
8. Blueberry Markets
Platforms
MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView, Blueberry X
Minimum deposit
US$100
Advertised EUR/USD spread
0.1 pips (Raw)
Commission
US$3.50 per side
Why We Recommend Blueberry Markets
I would send you to Blueberry Markets if you want cTrader alongside a full platform lineup, including MT4, MT5, TradingView and the Blueberry X platform, all backed by an overall rating of 57.1. Its Raw account advertises 0.1 pips on EUR/USD with a US$3.50 per side commission (US$7 round turn), and customer service scores 8 of 10. The US$100 minimum deposit keeps the door open for smaller accounts.
The trade-off is trust and breadth. Trust scores 3 of 10 and range of markets 3.8, which tells you the instrument list is thin and you should weigh the regulatory picture carefully before committing funds.
Pros & cons
- Raw EUR/USD spread advertised 0.1 pips
- cTrader plus four other platforms
- Customer service scores 8 of 10
- Trust scores just 3 of 10
- Range of markets only 3.8
- Higher US$7 round turn commission
cTrader At Blueberry Markets
Blueberry Markets offers cTrader alongside MT4, MT5, TradingView, its own Blueberry X platform and a WebTrader. Its review describes cTrader here as an ECN platform known for depth-of-market pricing and advanced charting. The Raw account advertises 0.1 pips on EUR/USD with a US$3.50 per side commission (US$7 round turn), while the Standard account sits at 1.1 pips. Offshore entities allow leverage up to 500:1, and the minimum deposit is US$100, so you can start small.
9. Purple Trading
Platforms
cTrader, MT4, MT5, TradingView
Minimum deposit
US$100
Advertised EUR/USD spread
0.6 pips (ECN)
Commission
US$10 round turn (Standard status)
Why We Recommend Purple Trading
I would point automation-focused traders to Purple Trading, which pairs cTrader with three depth-of-market views and cTrader Automate's C# API for robots and custom indicators. Its overall rating is 54.5, and its ECN commission drops to US$5 per lot round turn at VIP status from US$10 at Standard. Regulated by CySEC and the FSA (Seychelles), it keeps the entry point at US$100.
The trade-off is cost: trading costs score 4 of 10, the lowest of the nine brokers here. The advertised 0.6 pip EUR/USD raw spread is wider than several peers on this page, so if tight forex pricing is your priority, look further up the list.
Pros & cons
- cTrader Automate with C# API
- Three depth-of-market views
- CySEC and FSA Seychelles regulated
- Lowest cost score of the nine
- Raw spread advertised 0.6 pips
- No share CFDs on cTrader
cTrader At Purple Trading
Purple Trading runs cTrader alongside MT4, MT5 and TradingView. On cTrader you get three depth-of-market views (standard, price and VWAP depth), cTrader Automate with a C# API for robots and custom indicators, and the cTrader mobile app. Its ECN account charges US$10 per lot round turn at Standard status, US$8 at Prime and US$5 at VIP, with an advertised 0.6 pip EUR/USD raw spread; the STP account has no commission at 1.7 pips. Note that share CFDs are on TradingView here, not on cTrader. The minimum deposit is US$100.
*Your capital is at risk ‘72.05% of retail CFD accounts lose money’
How The Nine cTrader Brokers Compare
Commission is what separates these nine most sharply. Fusion Markets bills 2.25 per side in the base currency of the instrument, so one standard lot of EUR/USD costs you EUR 2.25 per side, or EUR 4.50 round turn. IC Markets, FP Markets, and BlackBull Markets each charge US$3 per side, which works out to US$6 round turn per standard lot, and FxPro charges US$35 per US$1 million traded per side, which comes to about US$3.98 per side (US$7.97 round turn) for a EUR/USD standard lot on forex and metals, with no commission on indices, energies, futures, and crypto. A EUR/USD standard lot is EUR 100,000, worth US$113,790 at the EUR/USD rate of 1.1379 on September 25, 2026. At the expensive end, Purple Trading charges US$10 round turn per lot at its Standard status, dropping to US$5 at VIP.
Access matters as much as price. GO Markets offers cTrader to its Australian (ASIC) clients only, so if you open an account with its CySEC or Mauritius entity you land on MT4 and MT5 instead. In my opinion you should weigh the commission structure against the entity you will actually be signed up with, not the headline spread. The next section covers what you get in return for choosing cTrader over the MetaTrader platforms.
What cTrader Does Better Than MT4 And MT5
cTrader gives you depth of market as a standard feature, 26 timeframes, and 70+ built-in indicators, which suits day traders and scalpers who want to see liquidity sitting behind the price rather than a single bid and ask. MT4 offers 9 timeframes and 30 built-in indicators, and MT5 offers 21 timeframes and 38 indicators, so cTrader’s charting toolkit is the broader of the three out of the box. If you build automated strategies, cTrader Algo lets you write cBots, custom indicators, and plugins in C# or Python, and Python in particular opens the platform to traders who already know it and have no reason to learn MQL4 or MQL5.
Copy trading is built into the platform itself through cTrader Copy, so you can follow another user’s strategy without a third-party service, subject to your broker and jurisdiction. The cTrader ID (cTID) is the feature I would highlight for platform hoppers: one login signs you in across cTrader brokers, and several live and demo accounts can sit under it, although each trading account still belongs to the broker that created it. Native apps for Windows, Mac, the web, iOS, and Android mean you are never tied to one machine. Even a platform this complete has gaps, and the next section sets them out.
Where cTrader Falls Short
The biggest limit is broker choice. Of the global brokers we review, 11 list cTrader as live today, and one more lists it as coming soon, so your shortlist is a fraction of what MT4 and MT5 offer. If you already own Expert Advisors written in MQL4 or MQL5, they cannot run on cTrader, because cTrader uses cBots instead; porting an EA means rewriting it in C# or Python.
Copy trading can also be narrower than the platform suggests. Spotware states that live copy trading availability depends on the broker, the jurisdiction, and regulation, and retail clients of some EU/EEA regulated brokers may find it restricted or limited to demo. IC Markets does not offer copy trading, including cTrader Copy, to clients of its CySEC entity. Some brokers offer cTrader on one entity only: GO Markets restricts it to its ASIC clients. Share CFDs are missing from cTrader at some brokers, including FxPro, which lists them on MT5 only, and Purple Trading, which supports them on TradingView instead. Whether those gaps matter depends on how you trade, which is what the next comparison makes concrete.
cTrader vs MT4, MT5 And TradingView
On charting, cTrader’s 70+ indicators top MT4’s 30 and MT5’s 38, and its 26 timeframes exceed MT4’s 9 and MT5’s 21, while TradingView leads the field with 400+ pre-built indicators and Pine Script, though its free Basic plan allows only 2 indicators per chart. On automation, each platform has its own language: cTrader uses cBots in C# or Python through cTrader Algo, MT4 uses MQL4, MT5 uses MQL5, and TradingView uses Pine Script. On broker choice, MT4 and MT5 are near universal, cTrader is offered by a small set of brokers, and TradingView trades through connected brokers rather than holding your account itself. I would pick the platform whose automation language you can actually work in, then pick the broker from that platform’s list. The table below lines the four up side by side.
| Feature | cTrader | MT4 | MT5 | TradingView |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Developer | Spotware Systems Ltd | MetaQuotes | MetaQuotes | TradingView, Inc. |
| Built-in indicators | 70+ | 30 | 38 | 400+ |
| Timeframes | 26 | 9 | 21 | - |
| Automation language | C# or Python | MQL4 | MQL5 | Pine Script |
| Depth of market | Yes | No | Yes | Yes |
| Built-in copy trading | cTrader Copy | MetaTrader Signals | MetaTrader Signals | - |
| Software cost | Free with a broker account | Free with a broker account | Free with a broker account | Free Basic plan, paid plans above it |
How To Choose A cTrader Broker
I would work through a few checks before you open any cTrader account, starting with the entity. The broker’s group may advertise cTrader while the entity that will actually open your account does not offer it: GO Markets provides cTrader to its Australian (ASIC) clients only, and its CySEC and Mauritius entities offer MT4 and MT5 only. Then check how the broker prices cTrader, because the commission is quoted per side and the currency varies: Fusion Markets bills 2.25 per side in the instrument’s base currency, while IC Markets, FP Markets, and BlackBull Markets charge US$3 per side, so you should convert each quote to a round-turn cost per standard lot before comparing.
Read the regulator named on your account agreement as well, because that is the licence standing behind your money. All nine carry regulators such as ASIC, CySEC, and the FCA across their entities. Check too whether copy trading is open to your entity, since IC Markets excludes clients of its CySEC entity, and Spotware states that some EU/EEA regulated brokers restrict live copy trading or limit it to demo. Minimum deposits across the nine run from US$0 to US$200, with IC Markets alone at the top of that range, four brokers asking US$100, and four asking nothing, so a small starting balance is possible but not universal. Once you have chosen, the steps are straightforward.
How To Set Up cTrader With A Broker
Getting started with cTrader is a short sequence, because the broker does most of the setup for you.
- Open an account with a broker that offers cTrader, and the broker creates your cTID and links your trading account to it if this is your first cTrader account.
- If you already hold a cTID from another broker, link the new account to it instead of creating a second login.
- Download cTrader for Windows or Mac, or open cTrader Web or the mobile app.
- Sign in with your cTID, and your trading accounts appear in the platform.
- Fund the account with your broker and place your first trade.
If your broker offers a demo account, I recommend starting there: Pepperstone’s cTrader demo does not expire, and IC Markets offers a cTrader demo as well.
Once you have tried cTrader on a demo account, our forex trading platforms comparison puts it beside MT4, MT5, TradingView, and broker-built platforms, with six sections by trading style.
