Our verdict on FOREX.com
I would shortlist StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd. if you want CFDs on FX, shares, indices and commodities under one MAS-listed entity, with TradingView and MetaTrader 4 as platform choices and PayNow and FAST among the funding routes. The score is FOREX.com's global score, 67.6 out of 100 from our global broker test, applied to StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd.
The limit I would weigh is the firm's own Risk Disclosure Statement: a position may be liquidated at a loss and the client will be liable for any resulting deficit in the account. That makes the firm a weaker fit for anyone who cannot absorb losses beyond a deposit. Card deposits also carry a 2% processor fee, so I would fund through PayNow or a bank transfer instead.
Pros
- EUR/USD spreads from as low as 0.5 pips on the FOREX.com platform, the firm advertises.
- No commission on FX trades; the firm states commissions apply to share CFDs only.
- PayNow, FAST and bank transfer deposits carry no charge, the firm's funding FAQ states.
- Withdrawals are processed within 3 working days, with no withdrawal charge from the firm, the firm states.
- The firm states retail client money is fully segregated from its own funds in separate bank accounts.
Cons
- Card deposits incur a 2% fee levied by the card processor, the firm's funding FAQ states.
- The firm's Risk Disclosure Statement leaves you liable for any deficit if a position is liquidated at a loss.
- MT4 pricing may differ from the FOREX.com platform's advertised spreads, the firm's trade prices page states.
- Demo access runs for 12 weeks only, the firm's popular FAQ page states.

How this is measured
Google Ads reports how many times a month people in Singapore searched each broker's brand terms, and the brokers are ranked on that figure alone.
A term counts for a broker only when that broker's own website holds the first organic Google result for it in Singapore; bare brand words that any company could own are left out.
A month-on-month change prints only where the previous month reached 1,000 searches, because Google rounds smaller volumes.
The figures refresh on the 15th of each month with the newest month Google has published, and the first-result check repeats every quarter.
Is FOREX.com safe? MAS licence, StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd.
Yes, StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd. is a Capital Markets Services Licensee on the MAS Financial Institutions Directory, read on 24 September 2026. That is the entity behind the FOREX.com name in Singapore, sitting on the directory MAS itself keeps.

The scope of a licence tells you what MAS supervises an entity for, not whether its terms suit a trader. I would check the entry on the MAS website before depositing, and match the firm’s name and address there against the site you are on.
MAS actions and the Investor Alert List
On 13 June 2025 MAS added an entry to its Investor Alert List about Telegram accounts, including @SGStoneXofficial and @Alexyeo_official, that impersonate StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd. MAS warns members of the public to take care that they are dealing with an actual regulated entity, and points to the Financial Institutions Directory for contact details. This is MAS warning you about impostors, not an action against the firm.
This page covers StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd., the Singapore entity behind the FOREX.com name; for the brand’s platforms and terms worldwide, read our FOREX.com global review.
MAS enforcement and alerts
A search of MAS enforcement actions, media releases and the Investor Alert List on 24 September 2026 under 8 search terms (StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd., FOREX.com, Forex.com, StoneX and 4 other names) returned no MAS enforcement action against this company.

- Telegram accounts @SGStoneXofficial and @Alexyeo_official
There are Telegram accounts impersonating StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd, a holder of a Capital Markets Services Licence licensed by MAS. FOREX.com client money
A Singapore client contracts with StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd., and the statements that follow are the firm’s own, from its Singapore pages, so they describe where your money sits while you trade.
| Fact | What the record says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Client money, as the firm states it | retail client money segregated from the firm's own funds in separate accounts with banks | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
| Client money, as the firm states it | held in trust by MAS-regulated financial institutions | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
| Negative balance, as the firm states it | client liable for any resulting deficit if a position is liquidated at a loss (Risk Disclosure Statement) | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
Where a Singapore client’s money is held
The firm states that all retail client money is fully segregated from its own funds and held in separate accounts with top-tier banks, and StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd. states that funds are held in trust by financial institutions regulated by MAS (its regulations page and accredited investor page). Before you deposit, I would confirm the current wording.
Who a Singapore client contracts with
The firm’s Singapore pages state: “FOREX.com is a trading name of StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd.” (its Singapore home page and trade prices page, forex.com/en-sg). City Index’s Singapore address served the same page carrying the same sentence (cityindex.com/en-sg). The name the firm’s pages print is the name FID lists.
Negative balances
The firm’s Risk Disclosure Statement states that a position may be liquidated at a loss and the client will be liable for any resulting deficit in the account. I would size positions on the assumption that a gap can leave a trader owing money.
FOREX.com at a glance: 3 key facts
One caution from me: the firm’s funding page prints its minimum deposit and its card minimum with a dollar sign only, the currency left unnamed, so I would confirm the currency with the firm before funding. The firm’s pricing help page works its example in Singapore dollars.
| Fact | What the record says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum deposit, as the firm states it | $150, minimum deposit; $250 minimum per card transaction; the page prints "$" without naming the currency | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
| Demo account | Available (12 weeks, $20,000 in virtual funds) | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
| Base currencies | SGD | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
FOREX.com spreads and commission
The firm’s trade prices page advertises EUR/USD spreads from as low as 0.5 pips on the FOREX.com platform, and the same page states that different spreads and pricing may apply on the MetaTrader 4 platform. I would treat that as an advertised floor rather than a measured figure; your own fills may sit above it, and our global broker test did not measure this Singapore entity.
Standard and MT4
The account comparison page states spreads are variable, as low as the same floor on FX for the Standard and MT4 accounts, with the figure given for FX (the page does not single out EUR/USD for it).
Commission
The firm states it charges commissions only on share CFD trading, so your FX trades carry no commission (its trade prices page).
What it costs to trade with FOREX.com
Beyond the spread, costs depend on what a trader trades and how an account is funded. The funding route can add or save a fee, so it pays to read the firm’s Singapore pricing pages before your first trade.
| Fact | What the record says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Spread on EUR/USD, advertised (FOREX.com platform; the page says MT4 pricing may differ) | as low as 0.5 pips | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
| Standard and MT4: spread on FX, advertised | as low as 0.5 pips | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
| FX: commission | 0 (commissions are charged on share CFDs only) | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
Other fees a Singapore trader should check
The firm’s funding FAQ states that credit and debit card deposits incur a fee levied by the card processor, while bank transfers, FAST and PayNow carry no charge. I would also ask the firm directly about any inactivity fee and overnight holding rates before you trade.
FOREX.com deposits and withdrawals
The firm returns third-party payments, so fund your account only from a bank account or card in the client’s own name; a payment from anyone else comes back to the sender. The firm’s funding page sets out its deposit routes and minimums, and I would confirm the terms there before the first transfer.
Funding route: debit or credit card, PayNow, internet banking / FAST, Bill Payment, wire transfer (Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026)
Withdrawals, as the firm states them: withdraw all or part of the money not committed to open trades at any time; processed within 3 working days; no withdrawal charge from the firm; minimum $150 or the available balance; the page prints "$" without naming the currency (Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026)
FOREX.com account types and minimum deposit
Account choice here is a platform choice first and a status choice second: the Standard and MetaTrader 4 accounts sit alongside a Corporate account, while the opt-in Accredited Investor route changes margin terms once a client qualifies and opts in. Every CFD applicant faces the firm’s mandatory Customer Knowledge Assessment, so gather your education, trading or working experience before you apply.
| Fact | What the record says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Account types on the Singapore site | Standard, MetaTrader 4, Corporate | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
| Account types on the Singapore site | Accredited Investor | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
| Accredited investor terms, as the firm states them | opt-in Accredited Investor status: from 2% margin on major FX pairs; eligibility by net personal assets above $2 million, financial assets above $1 million or annual income of $300,000; the page prints "$" without naming the currency | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
| Customer Knowledge Assessment, as the firm states it | a mandatory Customer Knowledge Assessment for every CFD applicant, in the application form; an applicant who fails can complete the ABS CFD module and submit the certificate | Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026 |
FOREX.com trading platforms
The firm’s Singapore site lists TradingView, MetaTrader 4, a mobile app and Web Trading. MetaTrader 4 is also one of its account types, so I would settle the platform choice before the account choice, since the firm’s account pages tie the two together.
FOREX.com execution speed and slippage
Our global panel holds no fill time for StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd.; the panel’s execution row is the FOREX.com group’s, not this entity’s. I would not read any latency claim about the brand elsewhere as a claim about an account here.
FOREX.com markets
If you trade more than FX, the firm’s CFD range means share, index and commodity positions sit under the same StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd. entity as your currency trades. I would still check any specific market you rely on against the firm’s Singapore site before opening.

FOREX.com leverage and margin for Singapore clients
Table 18 of the Fourth Schedule to the Securities and Futures (Financial and Margin Requirements for Holders of Capital Markets Services Licences) Regulations, Rg 13, sets 5% minimum margin for a retail customer (20:1, our arithmetic) and 2% for an accredited, expert or institutional investor, and that binds every MAS licensee alike. The firm states its own rates on major FX at those same percentages, and its own risk warning says losses can exceed deposits. As a retail client, your major FX position needs the retail margin the firm states, and the firm’s accredited investor page sets out the opt-in route that changes it.
Margin or leverage, as the firm states it: FX margin retail 5%, accredited 2%; leverage retail 20:1, accredited 50:1 (Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026)
Risk warning, as the firm prints it: ALL TRADING INVOLVES RISKS. LOSSES CAN EXCEED DEPOSITS. (Firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026)
FOREX.com vs IG and CMC Markets for Singapore traders
IG, licensed in Singapore as IG Asia Pte Ltd, sits third of the 18 firms in our rated Singapore set with a global score of 68.2 out of 100, one place above FOREX.com. IG states EUR/USD spreads of 0.6 pips minimum and 1.04 pips average on its CFD account, against the as-low-as figure FOREX.com advertises, so the comparison turns on whether an advertised floor holds through a session.
CMC Markets Singapore Pte Ltd sits fifth, with a global score of 64.6 out of 100, just below FOREX.com. CMC states EUR/USD from the same as-low-as floor FOREX.com advertises on its Next Generation CFD account, 0.8 pips minimum on its Standard CFD account, and 0 pips on FX Active.

Should you open an account with FOREX.com?
Yes, if you want a MAS-listed Singapore entity offering FX, share, index and commodity CFDs on TradingView and MetaTrader 4, and PayNow or FAST funding suits you, StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd. is worth your shortlist.
I would weigh the firm’s negative balance terms before funding, and route deposits through PayNow or a bank transfer rather than a card. Before depositing, I would read the firm’s entry on the MAS Financial Institutions Directory and confirm the funding terms on its Singapore site.
