Spreads are advertised figures, never tested, and desk scores are scored from published information, not tested. "Not published" means a search of the firm's Singapore pages found no figure, and "Not read" means the page did not load. Each "+" opens the MAS entity, permissions, score basis, and our review, and our sources are the firms' Singapore sites and the MAS Financial Institutions Directory, read 24 September 2026, apart from MultiBank Group's EUR/USD spreads, its Pro commission, and IG's forex CFD commission, read 5 October 2026.

Which is the best MT4 broker in Singapore?

Ordered by score, highest first, global and desk scores together, as on our list of eighteen, where nine scores come from our global testing and nine were scored from each firm's published Singapore information through the same eight categories, without order-speed tests; on this page, five carry a global score and two a desk score. The phrase beside each name comes from that firm's Singapore record; its place in the list comes from its score.

Why We Recommend OANDA

In my opinion, OANDA is the pick for MT4 in Singapore because everything runs from one account. You can use MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, TradingView, the OANDA web platform, and the OANDA mobile apps from the same OANDA account. OANDA Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is its MAS-licensed entity, with permission for OTC derivatives. The minimum deposit is S$0, and the funds in the account limit position size. OANDA's CFD markets include forex, index, share, precious metals, commodity, crypto, and bond CFDs, and a demo account is offered. For a trader who wants MT4 now and other platforms within reach, I would begin with OANDA.

Why We Recommend MultiBank Group

MultiBank Group's Singapore site names MetaTrader 4 for desktop, web trader, and mobile, with MetaTrader 5 alongside. MEX Global Markets Pte. Ltd. is the Singapore entity behind the brand, holding MAS permission for leveraged forex and OTC derivatives. The Standard account starts at US$50 and is commission free, a low entry cost if you are beginning with MT4. Metal CFDs and a free demo account are also on offer. For a trader who already knows MT4, that platform range is the appeal.

Why We Recommend IG

IG gives MetaTrader 4 plenty of company: ProRealTime, L2 Dealer, web trading, the mobile trading app, and TradingView all sit beside it. The MAS licensee is IG Asia Pte Ltd, and its permission covers OTC derivatives. EUR/USD carries an advertised minimum of 0.6 pips on the IG CFD account, and share CFDs carry a commission instead of a spread. The CFD range includes forex, share, commodity, and knock-out CFDs, and there is a demo account. I think IG suits a trader who wants MT4 as one option in a broader platform lineup.

Why We Recommend FOREX.com

FOREX.com pairs MetaTrader 4 with TradingView, a mobile app, and Web Trading. StoneX Financial Pte. Ltd. is the MAS licensee, and its permission covers leveraged forex and OTC derivatives. Commission applies to share CFDs only, with none on forex. EUR/USD is advertised from 0.5 pips on the FOREX.com platform, and its page notes that MT4 pricing may differ, so confirm the MT4 figures before comparing costs. A demo account runs for 12 weeks with virtual funds, and the CFD range covers forex, shares, indices, and commodities. If your trading is mostly in currency pairs, that commission setup is why I would shortlist FOREX.com.

Why We Recommend CMC Markets

CMC Markets puts MetaTrader 4 alongside its Next Generation platform and TradingView, so you can treat MT4 as one route into a wide CFD range. The MAS entity is CMC Markets Singapore Pte Ltd, licensed for leveraged forex and OTC derivatives. Its CFD account, on the Next Generation platform, carries an advertised EUR/USD minimum of 0.5 pips. The CFD list runs to forex, indices, commodities, shares, treasuries, crypto, share baskets, options CFDs, and pre-IPO CFDs, and a demo account is offered too. In my view, CMC Markets suits a trader who starts on MT4 and wants a bigger market list without changing brokers.

In Singapore, MT5 sits beside MT4 at OANDA and MultiBank Group, and TradingView sits beside MT4 at OANDA, IG, FOREX.com, and CMC Markets. IG advertises 0.6 pips on its IG CFD account and UOB Kay Hian (UTRADE) 1.8 pips on its LFX account. OANDA’s Spread only account advertises 0.8 pips, a figure MultiBank Group’s Pro account averages without commission. How we rank MT4 brokers for Singapore traders

These are the firms on our Singapore list of eighteen whose own Singapore site names MT4. An institutional MT4 bridge does not count as a retail platform. Every firm is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). The order is our list’s score order, global and desk scores together. A desk score is scored from published information, not tested. See the full list at Best Forex Brokers in Singapore (2026) and licences at MAS-Regulated Forex Brokers in Singapore.

FAQs

Which broker is best for MT4 in Singapore?
OANDA is the best MT4 broker in Singapore and the one I recommend. It leads on our global score of 88.3, and its Singapore site names MT4, MT5, TradingView, and its own web and mobile platforms, all from the same OANDA account. OANDA Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for OTC derivatives, appears in the MAS Financial Institutions Directory.
Can I use MT4 and MT5 with the same broker in Singapore?
Yes. You can use MT4 and MT5 with the same broker at OANDA or MultiBank Group. At OANDA, one account covers MT4, MT5, TradingView, and the firm's own web and mobile platforms. MultiBank Group names MT4 and MT5, and its demo page lets you choose MT4 or MT5.
Which should I choose in Singapore, MT4 or MT5?
The MT4 or MT5 choice in Singapore comes down to availability: on our Singapore list, seven brokers name MT4 and four brokers name MT5. Only OANDA and MultiBank Group offer both here, so if you want MT4 and MT5 from the same broker, you can choose OANDA or MultiBank Group.

These are minimum margin requirements for positions without a stop-loss, and a licensee may ask for more than the minimum.
Can I open an MT4 demo account in Singapore?
Yes. You can open an MT4 demo account in Singapore: MultiBank Group's demo page lets you choose MT4 or MT5, and only that demo page names MT4.
