I recommend OANDA for MetaTrader 5 in Singapore, with a global score of 92 out of 100 from our global broker test, and its Singapore site states "Or use TradingView, MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 from your OANDA account." OANDA Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is the entity licensed by MAS behind that offer. MetaTrader 5 at the 4 brokers, side by side

When you compare MetaTrader 5 across these brokers, I would look first at how each firm describes its MT5 product on its own Singapore site, because the tools you get vary with the build. Then weigh the entity FID lists and the advertised EUR/USD spread against how you actually trade. If you hold positions for days rather than minutes, my advice is to weigh the spread more heavily than the charting extras.

FAQs

Which MT5 broker is best in Singapore?
I recommend OANDA for MetaTrader 5 in Singapore, which holds a global score of 92 out of 100 from our global broker test. Its Singapore site states "Or use TradingView, MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 from your OANDA account", and it advertises an EUR/USD spread of 0.8 pips, advertised minimum, on its Spread only account. (our global broker test, and its Singapore site, read 24 September 2026)
Which MAS-licensed brokers offer MetaTrader 5 in Singapore?
Four brokers on our list state MetaTrader 5 on their own Singapore sites: OANDA, which offers MetaTrader 5 from your OANDA account; MultiBank Group, whose Singapore site lists MetaTrader 5 beside MetaTrader 4; Phillip Nova, which offers Phillip MT5; and Phillip Securities, which offers POEMS CFD MT5. If you want MT5 from one of the brokers on our list, I would compare these four on the spread and the account terms. (each firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026)
Is MetaTrader 5 trading legal in Singapore?
Yes, when you trade through an entity that holds a capital markets services licence for the product, or one FID lists as exempt from needing it. A joint Singapore Police Force and MAS release of 6 June 2025 says two unregulated trading platforms were determined to be in breach of the Securities and Futures Act 2001, and it encourages you to deal only with regulated platforms listed on FID. (the MAS and Singapore Police Force release of 6 June 2025, and FID read 24 September 2026)
Can I use MT4 and MT5 with the same broker in Singapore?
Yes, at OANDA and MultiBank Group, the two I would shortlist if you want both platforms. OANDA's Singapore site states "Or use TradingView, MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 from your OANDA account", so you can run both MetaTrader platforms from one account. MultiBank Group's Singapore site names MetaTrader 4 for desktop, web trader and mobile beside MetaTrader 5. (each firm's Singapore site, read 24 September 2026)
What leverage applies to MT5 forex trades in Singapore?
The platform does not change your margin rule. Table 18 of the Fourth Schedule to the Securities and Futures (Financial and Margin Requirements for Holders of Capital Markets Services Licences) Regulations sets minimum margin of 5% (20:1) for a retail customer and 2% (50:1) for contracts entered into only with accredited, expert or institutional investors. These are minimums, and a licence holder may ask you for more. (Singapore Statutes Online, read 24 September 2026)
