Forex Broker Awards 2026

Pepperstone leads our overall comparison, checked on October 3, 2026. This page shows which brokers currently lead each 2026 award category, from platform and cost rankings to country picks, and keeps the original 2026 editorial selections separate so you can tell a live ranking from a dated award.

Trading Forex and CFDs with leverage poses significant risk of loss to your capital.

This page answers one question: which brokers lead our 2026 award categories right now, based on the comparison pages and datasets we have already published, re-checked on October 3, 2026. Some current winners come from ranked comparisons, some from category score ties in the existing global dataset, and one charting selection is an editorial pick, so each block states its basis. No new measurement sits behind these winners; they are readings of our existing records.

Original 2026 editorial selections that no longer have a complete current counterpart ranking sit in a clearly labelled table near the end, kept as a historical record. Where a category shows a tie, that tie is the existing data. I would follow the link on any category of interest, because the source page carries the full field and the caveats behind the rank. The 2025 archive sits separately and is entirely historical.

Forex Broker Awards 2026

How The Categories Are Chosen

Our overall rating is a weighted average across eight categories, each scored out of 10: Trading Costs 2.5, Trading Experience 2, Trust 1.5, Trading Platform 1.5, Customer Service 1, Range of Markets 0.5, Education 0.5, and Funding 0.5. Ratings sit out of 100, and the weights mean costs and execution shape the result more than market range does. The scores measure retail forex and CFD suitability, not stockbroking or long-term investing, so a broker can score well here and still be the wrong home for your share portfolio.

A rank can be an editors' pick first, with the global scores ordering the rest, and each category block tells you which basis applies. Where a figure is a broker's published average, I say so; where it is our data, I say that too. Our analyst Ross Collins ran the historical six-pair MT4 spread tests that our tightest-spreads and standard-spreads methodology pages attribute to him, and in those tests Fusion Markets recorded a raw mean of 0.22 pips and IC Markets a standard mean of 1.03 pips. Those measured results are distinct from the current published EUR/USD averages on this page. Some current comparison data is derived arithmetic, and Exness is ranked on Myfxbook data, so not every average comes straight from a broker's own site. The full framework sits on our methodology page.

Can a broker pay to win one of these awards? No. The awards are decided by the weighted criteria set out above, not by payment, and no broker can pay for an award result or for an award badge. Some winners, including Pepperstone and IC Markets, are commercial partners that pay us affiliate fees. How the site is paid is set out in our advertiser disclosure.

Regulation And Account Eligibility

Licences belong to entities, not brands, and the contracting entity decides which protections apply to your account. A group can hold licences across several regulators while the entity that onboarded you answers to only one of them, so I tell you to check the entity named on the account agreement before funding anything.

The clearest example we have captured is Singapore. Our record of the MAS Financial Institutions Directory, with a brand search captured on September 24, 2026 reading "No result for: pepperstone" and the record read on September 25, shows Pepperstone has no entity in that directory. Pepperstone holds no MAS licence, and I would not imply CFTC, NFA, or FMA licences for it either. The Singapore category winner is OANDA Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. If you trade there, our Singapore broker list and our MAS-regulated brokers page carry the full field. A category score is not a safety rating and not a promise of product availability in your country.

Best Broker Overall for 2026

#1 Best Broker Overall for 2026

Winner: Pepperstone

Pepperstone leads our overall comparison, rated 93.5 out of 100, ahead of IC Markets, OANDA, and Fusion Markets. The rating is a weighted average across the eight categories in our methodology, and the full table on our comparison page carries the complete field. I recommend it for traders who want a strong all-round package rather than a single-category specialist.

Best Broker Overall for 2026 comparison and criteria

Trading Platform Awards

The platform categories below rank brokers for a specific platform, and most lists filter for eligibility, then order the field by our existing global retail forex and CFD ratings. Four place an explicit editors' pick first: Capital.com for MT4, BlackBull Markets for MT5, IC Markets for cTrader, and Pepperstone for TradingView. One category recognises TradingView itself as a charting pick, separate from any broker ranking. I would read the block that matches the platform you trade on, then follow its link for the full comparison.

Best MT4 Broker

#1 Best MT4 Broker

Winner: Capital.com

Capital.com is our editors' pick for MT4, first on our MT4 comparison, with Pepperstone following as the highest-rated broker on that list. The pick reflects the MT4 experience specifically, its spread-only pricing model among other factors, rather than any overall verdict. If MT4 is your platform, the source page compares Capital.com against Pepperstone in full before any commitment.

Best MT4 Broker comparison and criteria

Best MT5 Broker

#1 Best MT5 Broker

Winner: BlackBull Markets

BlackBull Markets is our editors' pick for MT5, first on our MT5 comparison, ahead of Pepperstone and IC Markets. The pick reflects our historical MT4 demo execution testing context, which informed our view of the broker's execution, though it was not an MT5 feature test, and I treat that context as informative rather than decisive. Traders running Expert Advisors on MT5 will find the full comparison on the source page.

Best MT5 Broker comparison and criteria

Best Charting Platform

#1 Best Charting Platform

Winner: TradingView

This category recognises TradingView as our charting platform pick, an editorial selection rather than a broker rank. The assessment covers charting alone: the drawing tools, the breadth of instruments chartable, and the workflow of analysing from the same screen. It says nothing about mobile apps or risk tools, which this page covers separately, and nothing about execution, which belongs to the broker you connect.

Best Charting Platform comparison and criteria

Forex Broker Awards 2026

#1 Best Android Trading App Broker

Winner: Pepperstone

Pepperstone tops our Android app comparison, ranked first among that page's eligible brokers by our existing global overall rating, not by a separate app-experience test. The ranking covers brokers offering an Android trading platform, so it is not a verdict on app design. If you trade from an Android device, the source page carries the full list.

Best Android Trading App Broker comparison and criteria

Forex Broker Awards 2026

#1 Best Guaranteed Stop-Loss Broker

Winner: OANDA

OANDA leads our guaranteed stop-loss comparison, ranked first among that page's eligible brokers by our existing global overall rating. GSLO availability and premium terms vary by broker and entity, and at least one broker on the list offers the tool free, so I would check the source comparison for the terms that would apply to your account rather than assume a universal cost.

Best Guaranteed Stop-Loss Broker comparison and criteria

Best cTrader Broker

#1 Best cTrader Broker

Winner: IC Markets

IC Markets is our editors' pick for cTrader, first on our cTrader comparison, with the remaining brokers ordered by our published overall rating, Pepperstone highest among them. The pick reflects the cTrader experience specifically rather than any overall verdict. If cTrader is your platform, the source page compares IC Markets against Pepperstone and Fusion Markets in full.

Best cTrader Broker comparison and criteria

Best TradingView Broker

#1 Best TradingView Broker

Winner: Pepperstone

Pepperstone is our editors' pick among brokers you can connect to TradingView, first on our TradingView broker comparison, with the remaining brokers ordered by our published overall rating. This is a broker ranking, separate from the charting platform award above, and it assumes the reader already trades from TradingView's charts and needs the right broker behind them.

Best TradingView Broker comparison and criteria

Lowest Cost Brokers

Cost winners come from three kinds of source, and the difference matters. Published averages are figures brokers state on their own sites, and the ranking favours a stated period or method, with Exness ranked on third-party Myfxbook data rather than the broker's own figures. Commission tables compare rates within one base currency at a time, because a US dollar rate and a euro rate do not measure the same bill. The lowest total EUR/USD cost category is arithmetic we derived from existing comparison data, combining a published spread with a published commission, not a new measurement or a separate editorial judgement, and I would read the published and derived figures as different kinds of claim.

The account's base currency is a choice made at sign-up, not something inferred from where you live, so pick the table that matches the account rather than the continent. Not every broker offers every base currency, so confirm the option exists before planning around a rate.

Forex Broker Awards 2026

#1 Lowest Published Raw EUR/USD Average With A Stated Period

Winner: TabTrade

TabTrade holds the lowest published raw EUR/USD average among brokers that disclose a period or method: 0.03 pips for April 2026, measured by third-party Datalyst and published on TabTrade's own site. This is published pricing, not our test, and the source ranking prioritises stated periods or methods, with Exness ranked on Myfxbook data. TabTrade operates Mauritius and Saint Lucia entities, and its terms name no financial licence for the Saint Lucia company, so check which entity would hold your account before acting on the figure.

Lowest Published Raw EUR/USD Average With A Stated Period comparison and criteria

Forex Broker Awards 2026

#1 Lowest Published Standard EUR/USD Spread

Winner: Fusion Markets

Fusion Markets holds the lowest published standard-account EUR/USD average, an advertised 0.83 pips on its Classic account, from the standard-account table in our lowest spreads comparison. That is the broker's own published figure, not our measurement. If you prefer spread-only pricing without commission, I would compare this figure against the other published averages on the source page before deciding.

Lowest Published Standard EUR/USD Spread comparison and criteria

Forex Broker Awards 2026

#1 Lowest Published USD Commission Per Side

Winner: Fusion Markets

Fusion Markets charges the lowest published USD raw-account commission among the ten brokers on our low commissions comparison: US$2.25 per side per standard lot, US$4.50 round turn, on its Zero account, read from the broker's own pages. Commission is one component of a raw account's cost, alongside the spread and any additional charges, so pair the rate with the spread before judging value; the source page works out the all-in cost where both figures are published.

Lowest Published USD Commission Per Side comparison and criteria

Forex Broker Awards 2026

#1 Lowest EUR/USD Spread Plus Commission

Winner: Fusion Markets

Fusion Markets has the lowest EUR/USD spread-plus-commission combination among the ten brokers in the all-in cost table. The 0.03 pips figure is our calculated average of the broker's published hourly averages, not a "from" minimum and not the broker's own single published mean. The spread of US$0.30 plus the US$4.50 round-turn commission comes to US$4.80 per standard lot of EUR/USD, with financing, slippage, and other account charges excluded. This is arithmetic on existing comparison data, not a new measurement.

Lowest EUR/USD Spread Plus Commission comparison and criteria

Forex Broker Awards 2026

Lowest AUD Account Commission

Winner: DNA Markets, Fusion Markets

DNA Markets and Fusion Markets tie at A$2.25 per side per standard lot for the lowest AUD account commission in our commission tables. Both rates are identical, so I would separate them on everything else, platform, trust, and service, rather than on price. This is an AUD base-currency comparison: match the table to your account, not your address, because base currency is a sign-up choice.

Lowest AUD Account Commission comparison and criteria

Forex Broker Awards 2026

#1 Lowest EUR Account Commission

Winner: GO Markets

GO Markets holds the lowest EUR account commission in our commission tables, EUR2.00 per side per standard lot. The comparison stays inside EUR because a euro rate and a dollar rate are different bills, and the entity behind the account can change the figure charged. If your account base currency is the euro, this is your table; if it is not, the other currency blocks on this page are the ones to read.

Lowest EUR Account Commission comparison and criteria

Best Fixed Spread Broker

#1 Best Fixed Spread Broker

Winner: Trade Nation

Trade Nation is our pick among fixed spread brokers on our fixed spread comparison. Its updated review verifies fixed spreads on the TN Trader and TradingView accounts, with variable pricing on the MT4 Standard account, so the account and platform chosen determines the pricing model. I would confirm which account is being opened before assuming fixed spreads, and the Trade Nation review carries that distinction.

Best Fixed Spread Broker comparison and criteria

Best Brokers by Trading Instrument

These categories rank brokers for a specific market or product type, from gold CFDs to crypto CFDs, and one covers the highest-rated US forex dealer that also offers futures. The scope is narrower than the overall table: a broker can lead crypto CFDs without leading anything else, and the US futures comparison covers only CFTC-registered forex dealers that also offer futures, not the whole futures market. Read the block for the instrument you trade, then the source page for the field behind it.

Best Broker for Gold CFD Trading

#1 Best Broker for Gold CFD Trading

Winner: Pepperstone

Pepperstone leads our gold CFD comparison for XAUUSD, ranked first among that page's eligible brokers by our existing global overall rating. The ranking is not a gold-specific pricing test, so if gold is your main market, weigh spread stability across the session and check the source page's full field before deciding.

Best Broker for Gold CFD Trading comparison and criteria

Best Broker for Forex

#1 Best Broker for Forex

Winner: Pepperstone

Pepperstone takes this category on its overall rating, the same weighted score that leads our main comparison. It reflects the eight-category framework, in which costs and trading experience carry the most weight. If pure forex cost is your only criterion, the cost categories above may point you elsewhere, Fusion Markets in particular.

Best Broker for Forex comparison and criteria

Best Broker for Crypto CFDs

#1 Best Broker for Crypto CFDs

Winner: Pepperstone

Pepperstone ranks first in our crypto CFD comparison, ordered by the published overall rating across the eight weighted categories among that page's eligible brokers. The ranking is not a coin-by-coin pricing test. If you trade crypto CFDs alongside forex, the source page shows the full list with platforms and demo availability so you can match the broker to your setup.

Forex Broker Awards 2026

#1 Highest-Rated US Forex Dealer Offering Futures

Winner: Interactive Brokers

Interactive Brokers is the highest-rated US forex dealer that also offers futures, with Charles Schwab second, in our US futures comparison. The scope is narrow by design: only CFTC-registered forex dealers that also offer futures, not the entire US futures market. Interactive Brokers lists futures and futures options beside spot currencies from the same legal entity, Interactive Brokers LLC, though that does not mean one account serves every product.

Specialty Awards

The specialty categories include three tied maxima from the existing global dataset. Trust is shared at 10 out of 10 by OANDA and IG Group. Education is shared at 10 out of 10 by OANDA and CMC Markets. Range of Markets is shared at 10 out of 10 by TabTrade, Eightcap, FXCM, IG Group, and CMC Markets. I have left every tie as it stands. A category score is not safety and not product availability where you live, so treat each as one input, not a verdict.

Forex Broker Awards 2026

Highest Trust Score

Winner: OANDA, IG Group

OANDA and IG Group share the highest Trust score in our dataset, 10 out of 10. A trust score reflects our assessment within the framework, not a guarantee of safety and not product availability in your country. You should still verify the entity that would hold your account, because trust attaches to entities, not brands.

Highest Trust Score comparison and criteria

Best CFD Broker

#1 Best CFD Broker

Winner: Pepperstone

Pepperstone is the highest-rated CFD broker in our ratings, ahead of IC Markets and OANDA, in the CFD comparison ordered by our existing global rating. The rating is the same weighted eight-category framework that drives our overall table, applied to the CFD field. I recommend checking the entity and regulator named on the account agreement before funding, because that regulator decides your protections.

Best CFD Broker comparison and criteria

Best Copy Trading Broker

#1 Best Copy Trading Broker

Winner: Pepperstone

Pepperstone leads our copy trading comparison, ranked first among that page's eligible brokers by our existing global overall rating, not by a separate test of signal availability or copy features. The ranking covers brokers offering copy trading platforms. If you copy trade, weigh the account pricing you would actually mirror, and read the full list on the source page.

Best Copy Trading Broker comparison and criteria

Best Broker for Scalping

#1 Best Broker for Scalping

Winner: Pepperstone

Pepperstone tops our scalping comparison, ranked first among that page's eligible brokers by our existing global overall rating, not on a scalping-specific pricing test. For scalpers, spread stability and execution matter as much as any headline, and the source page carries the full field. If cost alone drives your strategy, the cost categories above may point elsewhere.

Best Broker for Scalping comparison and criteria

Forex Broker Awards 2026

Highest Education Score

Winner: OANDA, CMC Markets

OANDA and CMC Markets share the top Education score, 10 out of 10, in our dataset. The score reflects the breadth and depth of each broker's educational material within our framework. It is not a promise that every course suits your level, so I would sample the material before letting it decide the broker.

Highest Education Score comparison and criteria

Forex Broker Awards 2026

Highest Range of Markets Score

Winner: TabTrade, Eightcap, FXCM, IG Group, CMC Markets

Five brokers share the top Range of Markets score, 10 out of 10: TabTrade, Eightcap, FXCM, IG Group, and CMC Markets. The tie comes from the existing dataset, with no tie-break applied. A wide market range matters if the trading goes beyond the majors; if you trade three pairs, I would spend the attention on costs and execution instead.

Highest Range of Markets Score comparison and criteria

Regional and Country Awards

Country winners are legal-scope picks, not just the highest global score. I treat them as entity questions first: the entity that would hold the account decides the regulator, the leverage caps, and the protections, which is why OANDA wins three countries through three different entities, and why Malaysia's pick is an editors' choice ahead of a higher-scoring broker. Each block names the entity and the regulator so they can be verified before anything is opened.

Country, 6 rows.
CountryFirst in current comparisonEligibility and ranking basis
United StatesWinner: OANDA

OANDA leads our US comparison through OANDA Corporation, CFTC-registered and an NFA member. The ranking follows our existing global rating among US-eligible brokers.

CanadaWinner: OANDA

OANDA ranks first in Canada through OANDA (Canada) Corporation ULC, a Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO, formerly IIROC) dealer member, per our Canada comparison.

SingaporeWinner: OANDA

OANDA leads our Singapore list through OANDA Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Pepperstone holds no MAS licence per our captured directory record.

New ZealandWinner: BlackBull Markets

BlackBull Markets ranks first in New Zealand through Black Bull Group Limited, a Financial Markets Authority (FMA) derivatives issuer, per our New Zealand comparison.

European UnionWinner: Pepperstone

Pepperstone ranks first in our EU comparison, which centres on CySEC regulation. Confirm which Pepperstone entity would contract with you, because the CySEC licence applies to that entity.

MalaysiaWinner: Fintrix Markets

Fintrix Markets is our editors' pick for Malaysia, ahead of higher-global-score Pepperstone. Fintrix Markets Ltd holds a broker-stated Mauritius licence, not Malaysian regulation, per our Malaysia comparison.

Original 2026 Editorial Selections

The table below preserves a subset of our original 2026 editorial selections: the categories for which no complete current counterpart ranking exists. These are historical selections, not current first-place comparison results, and I do not claim any of them holds the highest category score today. Where a current leader appears elsewhere on this page, especially for the broader app, risk, education, and markets categories, it can differ from the original pick. The 2025 archive sits separately and is entirely historical.

2026 Overall Rankings Table

The overall ranking matches the scores and order on our homepage comparison table, not a new assessment. Pepperstone holds first place, ahead of IC Markets, OANDA, and Fusion Markets, and you can read Pepperstone's rating of 93.5 out of 100 in its review. In my view the weighting is worth understanding before the table is read, because costs and trading experience carry the most weight. Overall first is not first in every category; Fusion leads several cost categories and OANDA shares the top trust score. The table appears after the award blocks in the homepage's fixed order.

2025 Winners

The table below records the 2025 CompareForexBrokers Awards, which covered 26 categories. Each row gives the category, the winner as it was published, a link to the winner’s review (for TradingView, our platform page), and the original award badge where the badge image survives, which is the case for 18 of the 26. City Index appears as “City Index (now StoneX Trading)” and links to our StoneX Trading review. Best Third-Party Trading Platform was won by TradingView, a platform rather than a broker.
