Great and fast costumer service. I had a problem with closing a trade. 5 minutes later i got the quotation i wanted. So, very good. They are FSA regulated. I don´t know where Karen has her (his) information from, but it´s simply wrong.
Everthing else is fine, too, as it was mentioned before.

Karen is mistaken. She can't be a client of Activtrades as they cannot accept US residents as clients at this time.

well im still on their demo platform, everything about this broker looks good. the only reason why im holding on and not going live yet is because im wary of their customer support.

i requested a callme back on their site and up till now there has been no (it about a month now). i also sent them an email to ask some questions and yet no response too. so im begining to wonder if this is how i will be treated d moment i go live. i currently have an account with alpari and i will give alpari 100% in terms of customer service. i think they should work on their customer service.

pls i need more info frm those with live accounts, how long does it take them to respond especially with respect to withdrawals?

aside from dat thier demo platform is quite stable.

I just had positive experiences with their support. Emails were answered (normally) within 30 minutes. I called them three times, and they always helped me very politely and fast. The withdrawals took 3 working days from GB to Germany.

I did not have any problem with this broker. When I made withdrawal, I got money in the same day on my bank account. Platform runs fast and stops newer were overstep. Customer service is ok.

After 2 trades I've been put to dealing desk, and then nothing but requotes since it takes 5 seconds to process an order, and if price moves by 1 pip, requote. The good thing is that they requote you in the opposite direction, meaning if you want to sell a currency and price moves higher they requote you (giving you the chance to have a better entry) but still 5 seconds is a lot, making it impossible to place a market order regardless of the volatility of the market. Withdraws are fast and they are FSA regulated.

This is my second broker, I trade FX on their MT4 platform. Although I don't have too much trades everyday, entries are great, exits
sometimes are 1-2 seconds delayed. Spread are ok, almost no slippage and re-quote.

FSA 50,000 pround guarantee is also a reason I choose them.

Customer services are responsible, but, responds are not so fast.

not problem for me, i have opened 2 accts,,,,they are very strange with italian desk very professional. i gained and withdraw the money in 3 days. the MT4 is good for me ,,,,

My first trade I did through this broker was great, no slippage or re-quotes everyting was fine, Then all of a sudden the start slipping my orders by between 20-35 pips, If you are in a trade you can't click out using a direct deal, becasue you will get re-quote after re-quote, the only way to get ou is to place a stop order. On their website they say "guarenteed stop order" this is not true! I won't recommed it to pro. traders.

No problem so far, using it for 4 months now. Absolutely no slippage, guaranteed stops, immediate execution.

I didn't want to believe but Johan and Peter were right.

Many reviews here and their customer support say ActiveTrades guarantee all stops but they DON'T anymore, except for the first trade.
Now I looked up their website and found a terrible statement:

"*Guaranteed Stops are a service offered by ActivTrades. This service is not available for accounts eligible to trade micro-lots. Be also aware that this service may not be compatible with all scalping techniques (news scalping is not allowed by our firm), and may therefore be temporarily or permanently removed without prior notice from the concerned accounts."

This was not announced about a month ago.
They never notified it to customers.

I was a satisfied customer since March 2008,suddenly , 4 days ago The bad tricks appeared, the same of Peter's and johan's : slippage, unable to put a market order or close open positions.

I was ready to drawing swords (video records complaint sent to FSA).

I called George S. (french REP.),he did a good job, I followed his instructions and everything works magnificently now.

Give them 5 stars for competence and fast answer.

Have been using ActivTrades for 5 months and have no grumbles at all. A couple of months back, I scalped NFP 3 times in about 5 minutes: instant fill and 2 pip spread. Tried one NFP trade last month and didn't get filled - not sure if that was just a glitch so won't mark them down for it.
All in all and so far: I'd say they're a good broker.
